[MCPE 1.21+] Turn Mace into Thor's Hammer! (Summon Lightning God Mode)

The Minecraft 1.21 update brought us the Mace. It is a solid weapon, heavy and impactful. But after using it for a while, I felt it was missing a crucial element. It is just a physical tool, lacking the magical essence that makes a weapon truly legendary.

I asked myself: What if this heavy Mace could summon actual lightning? What if it could function like Mjolnir, the hammer of Thor?

That is why I developed the RR Thor's Hammer Addon. This script completely transforms how the Mace works in Minecraft Pocket Edition. It does not just change the texture; it adds a new mechanic that allows you to call down lightning strikes from the sky.

Features: Normal Mode vs God Mode

To ensure the addon is balanced for different playstyles, I have separated the features into two modes.

1. Normal Mode (Balanced)

When you first install the addon, this is the default mode. I designed it so you can use it in survival mode without breaking the game's difficulty curve.

The Mechanic: Aim your Mace at any mob or block and use the item (long press on mobile). A lightning bolt will strike that exact location.
The Cooldown: After a strike, you cannot summon another one for 5 seconds. This prevents spamming and keeps combat fair.
Visual Feedback: An action bar message will appear saying "Recharging..." so you know exactly when you can strike again.

2. God Mode (Unrestricted)

This mode is for players who want absolute power. It removes all limitations.

Zero Limits: The cooldown is completely removed. You can fire lightning as fast as you can click.
Status Effect: Your screen will display "GOD MODE" to indicate your power level.
Destruction: This is perfect for creative mode or testing. You can create charged creepers or clear forests instantly.

Here is a demonstration of the lightning strike mechanic. Notice how accurate the strike is relative to where the player is looking.

And here is what happens when you unlock God Mode. The continuous lightning creates a massive area of effect damage.

How to Unlock God Mode

I have implemented a secret unlock method. You do not need to download a separate file. The feature is already inside the code, you just need the key.

Unlock Instructions:

Take a piece of Paper and an Anvil.
Place the Paper in the Anvil.
Rename the Paper to the following code:

SECRET KEY: THOR_GOD

(Note: Capital letters are required)

Once renamed, hold the paper and use it. You will hear a confirmation sound, and the text "Thors Hammer Unlocked" will appear. You now have permanent access to God Mode in that world.
