Give New Players a Head Start!
When a new player joins your world, they usually have nothing. They spend the first 10 minutes just punching trees and making basic tools. This can be boring for some players. The Starter Kit addon solves this by automatically giving every new player a basic kit when they first join the world.
This addon is perfect for survival worlds, SMPs, and realms where you want to welcome new players with essential items. It includes wood tools, food, torches, and a crafting table. No commands or complex setup required. Just install the addon and it works automatically.
But it's not just a one-time thing. Players can claim more kits later using the Kit Selection Panel. To keep things balanced, every kit has a cooldown timer. This prevents players from spamming kits and getting infinite items.
How It Works
- Auto on Join: When a player joins the world for the very first time, they receive the "Starter Kit" instantly. A welcome title also appears on their screen.
- Kit Panel: Players can open the Kit Selection Panel anytime by holding a Chest and sneaking (crouching).
- Select a Kit: In the panel, players can see all available kits. Clicking on a kit will give them the items if the cooldown is over.
- Cooldowns: Once a kit is claimed, a timer starts. The player must wait for the timer to finish before claiming that specific kit again.
