What Is Camera Master?

Camera Master is a cinematic camera addon for Minecraft Bedrock that unlocks 32 different camera perspectives through a simple menu. Whether you're recording gameplay footage, taking screenshots of your builds, or just want a different view while playing — Camera Master has a mode for it.

Every mode follows your player position in real time. Aerial modes stay above you as you move, orbit modes circle you continuously, and gameplay modes stay locked at the right angle for each activity. One tap to activate, one sneak+use to reset.

All 32 Camera Modes

The menu is split into 7 categories. Each mode activates instantly and tracks your movement in real time:

view_in_ar BASIC VIEWS 4 modes
First Person Third Person Back Third Person Front Free Camera
flight AERIAL VIEWS 5 modes
Drone Low (+5) Drone Medium (+10) Drone High (+20) Bird's Eye (top) Satellite (+30)

Orbit Slow (30s/rotation) Orbit Medium (15s/rotation) Orbit Fast (8s/rotation) Stop Orbit

Camera circles 8 blocks around you at head height continuously until you reset or switch modes.

Each angle is specifically positioned for its activity — Build Cam gives a top-down view, Combat Cam positions over the shoulder, Parkour Cam locks to the side.

Smooth Follow Shake Cam Screenshot Mode Cinematic Pan

Shake Cam adds a dramatic earthquake-style effect. Cinematic Pan automatically rotates through 4 angles around you with smooth easing. Screenshot Mode locks to a clean diagonal view. Smooth Follow uses direction-based trailing for a natural feel.

Settings

Open Settings from the main menu to customize how every camera mode behaves:

SettingRangeEffect
Transition Speed 0.5s – 3.0s Controls how smoothly the camera eases into position when changing modes. Lower = snappier. Higher = cinematic.
Smooth Easing On / Off When on, camera movements use smooth InOutSine easing. When off, movements are instant/linear.
Show Mode Name On / Off When on, the camera mode name appears as a screen title each time you switch modes.
Distance Multiplier 0.5x – 2.0x Scales the distance for all camera modes. 0.5x = closer, 2.0x = much further back. Useful for different FOV preferences.
info

Settings are saved per player via Dynamic Properties and persist between sessions. The Distance Multiplier affects all offset-based modes — aerial, side, cinematic, gameplay, and orbit.

Controls

ActionControlResult
zoom_in Spyglass — Use Right-click / Tap (not sneaking) Open Camera Master Menu
zoom_in Spyglass — Sneak + Use Sneak then Right-click / Tap Instantly Reset Camera

When you hold the Spyglass, the action bar always shows: [Spyglass] Use = Menu | Sneak + Use = Reset — so you never forget the controls.

How To Use

  1. Hold your Spyglass in your main hand. The action bar hint will appear.
  2. Tap Use (right-click / screen tap) to open the Camera Master menu.
  3. Pick a category — Aerial, Cinematic, Orbit, etc. — then select a mode.
  4. The camera activates immediately and follows your movement in real time.
  5. To reset back to your normal camera, Sneak + Use the Spyglass, or go to Orbit Modes and select Stop Orbit.
info

Only one camera mode runs at a time. Selecting a new mode automatically stops the previous one. The Cinematic Pan and Orbit modes run continuously — remember to reset when you're done.

How To Install

  • Tap the file (mobile) or double-click it (PC) — Minecraft imports it automatically.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: The menu is not opening when I tap the Spyglass?
Make sure Beta APIs is enabled in Experiments and the Behavior Pack is active. The Spyglass must be in your main hand. Do not sneak when opening the menu — sneaking while using the spyglass resets the camera instead of opening the menu. Also ensure you are tapping Use (right-click / tap), not just holding it.
Q: The camera is stuck and won't go back to normal?
Hold your Spyglass, sneak, then tap Use. This triggers the instant camera reset and clears all active modes. If you don't have the Spyglass handy, you can also open the menu (use without sneaking) and pick Reset Camera from the bottom of the main menu list.
Q: Orbit mode is running but I can't see a way to stop it from the menu?
Open the menu → Orbit Modes → select Stop Orbit. This stops the rotation and resets to your normal view. Alternatively, use Sneak + Spyglass from anywhere to reset immediately.
Q: How do I make the camera zoom out further?
Open Settings from the main menu and increase the Distance Multiplier. At 2.0x, all offset-based modes (aerial, side, cinematic, gameplay, orbit) will place the camera twice as far from your player. This setting is saved per player and persists between sessions.
Q: Can I use this for Minecraft cinematics or videos?
Yes — Camera Master is designed exactly for this. For smooth cinematic recording, use Screenshot Mode or Smooth Follow for stable footage, Cinematic Pan for automatic multi-angle sweeps, and Orbit Slow for classic 360 showcase shots of builds. Adjust the Transition Speed and enable Smooth Easing in Settings for the smoothest output.
Q: Does Shake Cam stay on permanently?
No — Shake Cam runs for about 2 seconds then automatically stops and returns you to your normal camera. It is designed as a short dramatic effect, not a continuous mode. Use it for impact moments like explosions or boss arrivals.
Q: Do camera modes work in multiplayer?
Yes. Camera modes are fully per-player — activating a camera mode only affects your own view. Other players in the world see nothing different. Settings are also saved separately for each player.
