What Is RR Wave Arena?
RR Wave Arena is a PvE survival minigame addon for Minecraft Bedrock that turns any world into an endless wave combat challenge. Instead of manually building arenas with command blocks, the addon does everything automatically — load into your world and a massive bedrock arena constructs itself right in front of you with walls, lighting, and a center spawn point.
You are locked into Adventure mode so you cannot break the arena, and you receive a compass item that serves as your entire game interface. One right-click opens the menu where you start waves, buy gear, check stats, and view the leaderboard. It works in both singleplayer and multiplayer, making it a perfect minigame for Realms and servers.
Beta APIs Required
This addon uses advanced custom scripts to spawn mobs, track coins, build the arena, and run the shop menu. You must enable the Beta APIs experiment in your world settings before loading the world. If you forget, the compass menu will not open and the arena will not build at all. Scroll down to Experiments and turn Beta APIs ON before creating or editing the world.
Automatic Arena Generation
The coolest part about this addon is that you do not have to build anything yourself. When you load into your world for the first time, the addon automatically teleports you to a safe spawn area and builds a massive bedrock arena right in front of you. It places all the walls, a glowstone ceiling for lighting, and a golden center block that acts as your spawn anchor.
Your game mode is locked to Adventure so you cannot accidentally break the arena structure. A special compass item appears in your inventory — this is your main menu for the entire game. Right-click it to hit "Start Arena." If you ever fall off the edge or try to escape, the addon safely teleports you back to the spawn area so the game never breaks.
The arena builds itself automatically when the world loads for the first time. No command blocks, no manual setup, no redstone required. Just apply the addon and play.
Endless Waves & Epic Bosses
Once you start the game, the arena locks down and the waves begin. You start with basic mobs like zombies and skeletons in wave 1. As you progress, the addon introduces increasingly dangerous enemies:
Every 5 waves there is a massive boss fight. These are custom bosses with extremely high health, resistance, and damage output:
On top of that, certain waves apply mob modifiers to all enemies. Sometimes they all get speed buffs, sometimes they turn invisible, and sometimes they become heavily armored. Every wave is designed to test your combat skills in a different way.
In-Game Shop & Economy
You start with just a basic stone sword. To survive the harder waves, you need better gear — and that is where the economy system comes in. Every time you kill a mob, you earn coins. Boss kills give massive coin bonuses. Completing a wave also rewards you with bonus coins.
Between waves, the game pauses and you can open your compass menu to access the Shop. Everything you need to survive is available for purchase:
You can buy TNT and lava buckets to set traps for mobs before the next wave starts. Planning your loadout between waves is the key to survival in the later stages.
Stats, Leaderboard & Achievements
The compass menu has a dedicated Stats tab where you can track your performance:
- Highest Wave Reached — your personal best wave number
- Total Lifetime Kills — every mob you have ever killed across all runs
- Bosses Destroyed — total boss kills tracked separately
- Total Coins Earned — lifetime coin earnings across all sessions
There is also a global leaderboard that ranks the top 5 players on your server. If you are playing on a Realm with friends, you can compete for the number one spot.
The addon includes 18 different achievements — challenges like reaching wave 50, killing 500 total mobs, or completing a wave without taking any damage. When you unlock an achievement, it pops up on your screen as a notification.
The leaderboard only tracks the top 5 players per server. To maintain your rank, you need to consistently survive longer waves than other players on the same Realm or server.
Game Over & Multiplayer
If you die during a wave, the game triggers a Game Over sequence. It announces to the entire server exactly which wave you survived until, then instantly clears all remaining mobs. The arena resets safely and all players are healed so you can try again from wave 1.
This addon is built with multiplayer in mind. You and your friends can team up to share the aggro of bosses, buy different gear from the shop to cover different roles, and push each other to survive longer waves. It is a perfect minigame for Realms, private servers, or LAN play.

How To Install
- Download the addon file using the button below from CurseForge.
- Tap it (mobile) or double-click it (PC) — Minecraft imports it automatically.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one. Go to Resource Packs and Behavior Packs tabs and activate RR Wave Arena in both.
- Critical: Scroll down to Experiments and turn Beta APIs ON. Without this, the compass menu and arena will not work.
- Make sure no other heavy addons are running to avoid conflicts.
- Load into the world. The arena builds automatically. Pick up your compass and hit Start Arena.
Critical: If Beta APIs is not enabled, the compass menu will not open and the arena will not build at all. You MUST enable it before loading the world.
