[MCPE 1.21+] RR Loot Reveal Addon: Find Lost Items with Particles (ESP Script)
Every Minecraft survival player has experienced the frustration of losing valuable items. Whether you die in a deep cave, get blown up by a creeper at night, or simply drop a tool in tall grass, finding your items before they despawn is a race against time.
In Minecraft Bedrock Edition (Pocket Edition), items lying on the ground are small, 2D sprites that often blend into the environment. If an item falls into grass, water, or dark corners, it becomes nearly impossible to spot. After losing my own enchanted diamond armor set in a jungle biome simply because I could not see where it landed, I decided to develop a permanent solution.
I am proud to present the RR Loot Reveal Addon. This is not a texture pack that outlines items; it is a complex script that tracks every item entity in your vicinity and highlights them with visual effects and data overlays. It ensures that you never lose your loot again.
How the Script Works
Unlike standard texture packs that change how an item looks in your hand, this addon utilizes the Minecraft Script API to interact with the world itself. The script constantly scans a 20-block radius around the player.
When it detects an entity of type `minecraft:item`, it calculates its position relative to the player. Based on this data, it spawns particle effects directly above the item and projects floating text displaying the item's name. This makes the item visible through walls, tall grass, and even in pitch-black darkness.
Features: Free Mode vs Pro Mode
To make this addon fair for different types of gameplay, I have separated the functionality into two distinct tiers: Free Mode and Pro Mode. By default, everyone starts in Free Mode.
1. Free Mode (Basic Locator)
This mode is active immediately upon installation. It provides basic visual assistance without overwhelming the screen.
- Visuals: Items emit a simple white smoke particle effect. This helps distinguish them from the ground texture.
- Identification: When you look towards an item, its name will appear in white text floating above it.
- Usage: This is best for general survival gameplay where you just need a little help spotting dropped resources.
2. Pro Mode (Distance Scanner)
This is the advanced version of the script, designed for players who need precise information, such as in PVP scenarios or massive storage sorting.
- Visuals: The white smoke is replaced by "Totem Particles" (Golden/Green sparks). These are much brighter and easier to see from a distance.
- Data Display: The floating text is upgraded. It now shows the Item Name in Gold/Aqua colors, the Quantity of the item stack (e.g., x64), and the exact Distance from the player in meters.
- Smart ESP: You can see items through obstacles more clearly, allowing you to prioritize which loot to pick up first.
How to Unlock Pro Mode
To access the advanced features of Pro Mode, you need to input a specific activation key within the game. This unlock process is permanent for your world once completed.
I have implemented this using the Anvil naming system, which checks for a specific string to grant the necessary permissions to your player.
Step-by-Step Unlock Guide
- Obtain a piece of Paper and an Anvil.
- Open the Anvil interface and place the Paper in the slot.
- Rename the Paper to the following code (Case Sensitive):
Once you have renamed the paper to "LOOT_GOD", hold it in your hand and long-press (use item) on the screen. The script will detect the key, display a message saying "Pro Loot Reveal Unlocked," and immediately upgrade the visual effects to the Golden Totem particles.
Installation & Requirements
Please pay close attention to this section. Since this addon relies on the Script API to track item entities and render text, you must enable Experimental Features in your world settings.
- Download the .mcpack file from the link provided at the bottom of this page.
- Open the file to automatically import it into Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Go to the "Experiments" tab in the side menu.
- Toggle "Beta APIs" to ON.
If you do not enable Beta APIs, the addon will load, but the particles and text will not appear because the script engine will be disabled.

Here are some examples of how the addon looks in different environments. Notice how the text clearly displays the distance and item count, making sorting and finding items incredibly efficient.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Will this addon cause lag?
No. The script is optimized to only scan items within a short range (20 blocks). It does not scan the entire world, so the performance impact is negligible.
2. Can I use this on a Realm or Server?
Yes, but you must be the owner of the Realm or Server to install the behavior pack. Once installed, all players on the server will be able to see the loot indicators.
3. Does it work with other texture packs?
Yes, this is a behavior script, not a texture pack replacement. It works perfectly alongside shader packs or other resource packs.
