What is Death Info?
Minecraft's default death screen just says "You Died" — nothing useful. You don't know what killed you, where you were, or how long you survived. Death Info fixes this completely.
Every time you die, the addon shows exactly what killed you, your exact coordinates, which dimension you were in, and how long you had survived. A death report appears on respawn summarizing the full details. A server-wide announcement lets all players know what happened. Everything is automatic — zero setup needed.
Pro Mode adds the Lives System — a second chance mechanic that saves you from death and restores 50% health. It also adds alive timers, death history, and a leaderboard to compete with friends for the best survival streak.

Lives System (Pro Feature)
The Lives System gives every player extra chances before they actually die. When your health drops to a critical level, the addon saves you automatically — restoring health to 50% and using one life. When all lives are gone, you die normally.
You have 3 lives:
Zombie hits you → 1 heart → ❤ SAVED! Life 1/3 used — Health: 50%
Skeleton arrow → 1 heart → ❤ SAVED! Life 2/3 used — Health: 50%
Creeper blast → 1 heart → ❤ SAVED! Life 3/3 used — Health: 50%
Fall damage → 1 heart → ☠ No lives left! You die!
Zombie hits you → 1 heart → ❤ SAVED! Life 1/3 used — Health: 50%
Skeleton arrow → 1 heart → ❤ SAVED! Life 2/3 used — Health: 50%

Admin can set lives from 1 to 10 and reset all lives from the Settings Panel. Lives reset per player.

How To Unlock Pro Mode
- Hold a Totem of Undying in your main hand.
- Hold Sneak and Use the Totem to open the Settings Panel.
- Select Unlock Pro Mode from the panel.
- Enter the Secret Key and press Submit.
- Pro Mode unlocks for everyone in the world instantly!
A Totem of Undying is used for unlocking — because this addon gives you a second chance at life, just like the Totem does!

How To Install
- Download the .mcpack file using the button below.
- Tap or click the file — Minecraft opens and imports automatically.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Go to Settings > Experiments and enable Beta APIs.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Does it change how I die?
No. You still die normally in every situation. The addon only shows you information about your death — cause, coordinates, dimension, and survival time. The only exception is the Lives System (Pro), which can delay death by saving you with health restored to 50%.
Q: Can I adjust the number of lives?
Yes! In Pro Mode, open the Settings Panel (Sneak + Totem) and go to Lives Settings. You can set lives from 1 to 10 per player. The admin can also reset all lives from the panel whenever needed.
Q: Does it work in multiplayer?
Yes! Every player has their own death stats, history, alive timer, and lives. The death leaderboard shows all players ranked by fewest deaths. Server-wide death announcements are visible to all players in the world simultaneously.
Q: Does it work with Keep Inventory?
Yes! Death Info only tracks and displays death information. It does not interfere with any game rules. It works perfectly with Keep Inventory, the Graves System addon, and any other addon that modifies death behavior.
Q: Does it affect game performance?
No. The addon only activates when a player death event fires. There is no continuous polling or interval checking during normal gameplay. Zero performance impact during regular play.
Q: Can I turn it off?
Yes. Use Sneak + Totem to open the Settings Panel, then toggle Death Info OFF. The addon goes completely silent and shows nothing on death until you turn it back on.
Q: What are the 10 Milestone Alerts?
At specific death count milestones — such as 5 deaths, 10 deaths, 25 deaths, 50 deaths and more — the addon shows a special alert message. These are fun notifications that track your death progress and add a competitive layer to survival gameplay.
