What is Instant Warp?
Instant Warp is a comprehensive teleportation system for Minecraft Bedrock Edition that brings server-style teleport commands to any world through a simple, elegant menu interface. No more typing complicated commands. No more memorizing coordinates. No more walking thousands of blocks across your massive survival world.
With Instant Warp, you use a Compass to open a beautiful interactive menu where you can save your current location as a home, teleport to any previously saved home, create public warp points that everyone on the server can use, set the world spawn point, and travel instantly across the Overworld, Nether, and End dimensions.
The addon is built using the latest Script API and works perfectly on single-player worlds, Realms, and dedicated multiplayer servers. Everything is saved permanently. Your homes persist across game sessions. Public warps remain available to all players. And the entire system is incredibly intuitive — if you have ever used a Compass in Minecraft, you already know how to use Instant Warp.
How It Works
- Craft or find a Compass (4 Iron Ingots + 1 Redstone Dust).
- Hold the Compass in your hand and Use it (tap or right-click).
- A beautiful menu panel opens with all available options.
- Select what you want to do — Set Home, Go to Home, Create Warp, etc.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete your action.
- That is it! The addon handles everything else automatically.
There are no chat commands to memorize. No console commands. No operator permissions required for basic features. The entire system runs through the interactive menu which guides you step by step through every action.
Home System — Private Teleports
Homes are private. Only you can see and use your saved homes. Other players cannot teleport to your homes, and you cannot see theirs. This makes homes perfect for saving the locations of your personal base, your secret mine, your hidden farm, your End island portal, or any other private location you want quick access to.
How to Set a Home
- Stand at the location you want to save.
- Use your Compass to open the menu.
- Select Set Home.
- Enter a name for this home (e.g., "base", "mine", "farm").
- Your location is now saved!
How to Teleport to a Home
- Use your Compass to open the menu.
- Select Go to Home.
- Choose which home you want to teleport to from the list.
- Stand still during the 3-second countdown.
- You are instantly teleported!
Home Limits
| Mode | Max Homes |
|---|---|
| Free Mode | 3 homes |
| Pro Mode | 10 homes |
Warp System — Public Teleports (Pro)
Warps are public. Everyone on the server can use warps, but only players with Pro Mode can create and manage them. This makes warps perfect for community locations like server shops, PvP arenas, public farms, community hubs, or popular building sites.
How to Set a Warp (Pro)
- Stand at the public location you want to make accessible.
- Use your Compass to open the menu.
- Select Set Warp.
- Enter a name (e.g., "shop", "arena", "netherhub").
- The warp is now available to all players!
How to Use a Warp
- Use your Compass to open the menu.
- Select Go to Warp.
- Choose from the list of available public warps.
- Stand still during the countdown.
- Teleport complete!

Special Features Explained
Teleport Countdown System
When you initiate any teleport — whether to a home, warp, or spawn — a 3-second countdown begins. During this countdown, you must stand completely still. If you move even slightly, walk, jump, or take damage, the teleport is immediately cancelled and you stay at your current location. This prevents accidental teleports during combat and adds a strategic element to PvP scenarios.
Distance Display
Before you teleport, the menu shows you exactly how far away your destination is in blocks. This helps you decide which home or warp is closest to your current location and gives you a sense of scale for how far you are about to travel. The distance is calculated in straight-line blocks and works across all three dimensions.
Go Back Feature (Pro)
Made a mistake? Teleported to the wrong home? With the Go Back feature in Pro Mode, you can instantly return to wherever you were standing before your last teleport. This works once per teleport and saves you from having to manually navigate back if you made an error.
Cross-Dimension Teleportation (Pro)
In vanilla Minecraft, you need portals to travel between the Overworld, Nether, and End. In Pro Mode, Instant Warp allows you to set homes and warps in any dimension and teleport directly between them. Save a home at your Nether fortress and teleport there from the Overworld instantly. Create a warp at your End city and anyone can visit without finding the portal. This feature alone saves hundreds of hours of portal building and navigation.
Rename Home (Pro)
Typo in your home name? Want to reorganize your home list? Pro Mode includes a Rename Home feature that lets you change the name of any existing home without having to delete it and recreate it at the exact coordinates again. Just select the home and enter the new name.

Tips and Tricks
- Always carry a Compass in your inventory. You never know when you will need a quick teleport.
- Name your homes clearly. Use short, memorable names like "base", "mine", "farm" instead of long descriptions.
- In Pro Mode, use cross-dimension teleports to skip portal building entirely. Set a home in the Nether and teleport there from the Overworld instantly.
- The 60-second cooldown in Free Mode only applies between teleports. There is no cooldown for opening the menu or viewing your homes.
- Public warps are shared across the entire server. Coordinate with other Pro Mode players to avoid hitting the 10 warp limit with duplicate locations.
- The Go Back feature only remembers your last teleport. Use it immediately if you made a mistake.
- Distance display helps you find the nearest home when you are lost. Sort your list by distance to find the closest safe spot.
- The addon is behavior-pack only. No resource pack needed. Minimal performance impact even on large servers.
