What is Trails?
Trails addon lets you leave beautiful particle effects behind you as you walk through your Minecraft world. Hearts, flames, magical sparkles, snowflakes, enchantment particles — choose your favorite trail and walk in style.
We have two versions available — both are free to download. The New Version (v2.0) features fresh particle effects like Rainbow, Galaxy, Ice and Soul. The Old Version (v1.0) has classic effects like Heart, Flame, Happy and Critical hits style. Both work the same way — pick whichever trail set you prefer!

How To Install
- Download the .mcpack file (New or Old version) using the buttons below.
- Tap or click the file — Minecraft opens and imports automatically.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Go to Settings > Experiments and enable Beta APIs.
- Add the Behavior Pack to your world.
- Enter the world, hold an Amethyst Shard and Sneak + Use to open Trail Menu!

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Which version should I download?
Both versions work great — it depends on which trails you prefer. New v2.0 has Galaxy, Rainbow, Soul and other unique effects. Old v1.0 has Heart, Flame, Happy, Angry and more classic style effects. You can even install both in the same world if you want!
Q: Can I use both versions together?
Yes! Both packs use the same prefix so they may conflict if used together. We recommend picking one version. If you want to switch, just remove the old one first and add the new one.
Q: Does the trail show to other players?
Yes! Particle effects are visible to all players in the world. Everyone around you can see your trail as you walk. Each player can have their own different trail at the same time.
Q: Does it work when I'm not moving?
No. Trails only appear when you are moving — walking, running or sprinting. When you stand still the trail stops automatically. This keeps things clean and saves performance.
Q: Does it cause lag?
Trails use native Minecraft particle commands which are well optimized. With Low or Normal density the performance impact is minimal. If you experience lag, set density to Low from the Settings Panel (Pro) to reduce particle frequency.
Q: Does my trail save after I leave the world?
Yes. Your trail selection is saved using Dynamic Properties. When you rejoin the world your trail is still selected and will activate the moment you start walking.
Q: Do I need both keys if I install both versions?
Yes! Each version has its own separate Pro key. New v2.0 uses key TR-6631-PRO and Old v1.0 uses key TR-7782-PRO. Make sure you enter the correct key for the version you installed.
