You have finally found the Elytra in the End City. You jump off a cliff, ready to fly... but wait! You don't have any Firework Rockets. You fall and take damage.

Flying in Minecraft requires fuel, and that fuel is Gunpowder. Hunting Creepers at night is slow and dangerous. One wrong move, and they blow up your house.

The solution? An Ultimate Creeper Farm. This farm works day and night, giving you thousands of Gunpowder per hour. Let's build it!

1. The Science: Why Cats and Trapdoors? 🧠

To build a farm that only spawns Creepers, we need to understand two game mechanics:

1. Height Check (Trapdoors): Zombies and Skeletons are 2 blocks tall. Creepers are slightly shorter (1.7 blocks). By placing Trapdoors on the ceiling, we reduce the height. Zombies cannot spawn, but Creepers can!
2. Fear Factor (Cats): Creepers are terrified of Cats. If they see a Cat, they will run away immediately. We use this fear to force them to run into a death hole.

Note: We also use Carpets on the floor to prevent Spiders from spawning.

2. Materials List 📦

Prepare your resources. Use the Automatic Storage System to sort the loot later.

3. Step-by-Step Build Guide 🏗️

Step 1: The Base

Build this farm over an ocean or high in the sky (Y=150) to ensure maximum spawn rates. Start by making a 2x2 hole in the center. This is where Creepers will fall.

Step 2: The Platforms

Build a diamond-shaped platform around the hole.
Important: Place Carpets every 2 blocks. This pattern stops Spiders from spawning because Spiders need a 3x3 flat space.

Step 3: The Ceiling

Place blocks 2 blocks high above the platform. Then, attach Trapdoors to the bottom of these blocks. This makes the space slightly shorter than 2 blocks, so tall mobs (Zombies/Skeletons) cannot spawn.

Step 4: The Cat

Sit a Tamed Cat in the center of the platform (on a fence or chest so it doesn't move). When Creepers spawn, they will see the cat and run away—straight into the hole!

Step 5: The Kill Chamber

At the bottom of the drop, place Campfires on top of Hoppers. The Creepers will fall, take fall damage, and then burn to death. The loot will go into your chests.

4. The AFK Spot (Very Important) 📍

For the farm to work, you must be far enough for mobs to spawn, but close enough so they don't despawn.

Build a small platform exactly 120 Blocks above the kill chamber. Stand there (AFK). This will force the game to only spawn mobs inside your farm structure.

5. What to craft? (Rockets & TNT) 🚀

Now that you have unlimited Gunpowder, here is what you can craft:

A. Firework Rockets (Flight Fuel)

Recipe: 1 Paper + 3 Gunpowder.

This creates a "Duration 3" Rocket. This gives you the longest boost when flying with Elytra. Never use Firework Stars, or you will take damage!

B. TNT (Explosives)

Recipe: 5 Gunpowder + 4 Sand.

Use TNT for Netherite Mining or to clear large areas for building.
