Today, I am sharing the Cave Dweller Addon (also known as The Lurker/Man From The Fog). This mod has taken the internet by storm. It transforms your peaceful Minecraft world into a pure Psychological Horror Game. This entity has custom AI. It doesn't just run at you; it watches you, it stalks you, and it screams before it kills you.
1. IT WATCHES YOU 👀
Unlike normal mobs, the Cave Dweller is smart. When you enter a cave, you might hear strange noises—footsteps, heavy breathing, or rocks falling. That means he is near.
He likes to hide in the shadows. Sometimes, you will see a pair of glowing white eyes staring at you from a dark tunnel. If you look at him, he might run away and hide again, just to mess with your mind. It creates a feeling of constant paranoia. You are never safe.
2. THE CHASE & SOUNDS 🔊🏃
The sound design is what makes this mod truly terrifying. The Cave Dweller makes guttural, distorted noises that get louder as he gets closer. When he finally decides to attack, he lets out a horrifying scream.
Once he starts chasing you, he is fast. Very fast. He can squeeze through tight spaces and climb blocks. Your only hope is to run, but even then, he might be right behind you. The Dynamic Lighting mod helps, but sometimes a torch just reveals your death.
3. THE LURKER & MAN FROM THE FOG 🌫️
We are providing links to multiple versions because the "Cave Dweller" concept has many adaptations.
- The Lurker: This version is specifically optimized for Bedrock. It focuses on caves and has a very creepy model with long limbs.
- Man From The Fog: This variant comes out at night on the surface. If you see lightning or fog, run inside your house and sleep. Do not go out.
- Adrenaline: Makes mining exciting and scary again.
- Atmosphere: Amazing sound effects and animations.
- Multiplayer: Pranking your friends with this mod is hilarious.
- Heart Attack: Seriously, the jumpscares are loud. Lower your volume.
- Brightness: You need low brightness for the full effect, which makes navigation hard.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE 🛠️
The Cave Dweller is rare. You must be in a cave (low light level). You can also use a Spawn Egg from the Creative Inventory to test it.
Make sure your 'Music & Sound' volume is up in Minecraft settings. The sounds are crucial for gameplay.
HOW TO INSTALL? 🔧
- Download the `.mcaddon` file from the link above.
- Open ZArchiver and tap on the file.
- Select 'Open with Minecraft'.
- Go to World Settings > Behavior Packs AND Resource Packs.
- Activate 'Cave Dweller' or 'The Lurker'.
- CRITICAL: Enable Experimental Gameplay features for the AI to work.
