Minecraft Ultimate AFK Stone Farm Guide Wiki: Unlimited Building Blocks
Minecraft Ultimate AFK Stone Farm Guide Wiki: Unlimited Building Blocks (2026) 🪨
Welcome Gamers to the Racing Raftaar Wiki! 🏰
Every great builder has the same problem. You want to build a massive castle, a skyscraper, or a giant wall. But you need thousands of blocks. You grab your pickaxe, go to a cave, and hold "Left Click" for hours. It is boring, and your mouse might break.
Stop working hard. Start working smart. In this guide, we will build an Ultimate AFK Stone Farm.
This machine generates stone infinitely. You just stand in one spot, hold your pickaxe, and watch the blocks pile up. Combine this with the Super Smelter, and you will have unlimited Stone Bricks forever!
1. The Science: Water vs Lava (Diagram) 🧠
Many players mess up this farm and turn their lava into Obsidian. You must understand the physics.
The 3 Rules of Rock:
- Stone (Smooth): Made when Lava flows on top of a Water Source.
- Cobblestone: Made when Flowing Water hits Flowing Lava.
- Obsidian (BAD!): Made when Water hits a Lava Source. Avoid this!
In our design (see the diagram above), we keep the Lava Source safe so it never turns into Obsidian.
2. Materials List 📦
This build is cheap, but you need Redstone components. Use a Crafting Table to prepare these:
| Item | Quantity | Use |
|---|---|---|
| Pistons | 4-5 | To push the stone. |
| Redstone Dust | 1 Stack | Wiring. |
| Redstone Repeater | 4 | The "Clock" timer. |
| Water Bucket | 1 | Cooling agent. |
| Lava Bucket | 1 | Heat agent (Get from Lava Farm). |
| Hoppers | 4 | Collection. |
| Obsidian | 1 | To stop the pistons. |
3. Step-by-Step Build Guide 🏗️
Step 1: The Chamber
Dig a hole 4 blocks long. In the second block, dig one block deeper. This is where the Water goes. The deeper hole stops the water from flowing into the lava.
Place Water on the far left side. It will flow into the hole.
Place Lava on the far right side. It will flow towards the water.
Where they meet in the middle, a Stone Block will appear instantly!
Step 2: The Pistons
Place a normal Piston behind the Stone block. We want this piston to push the stone out of the generator so a new one can form.
Step 3: The Redstone Clock
To make it automatic, we need a "Clock."
Place 4 Redstone Repeaters in a circle. Connect them with Redstone Dust. Right-click each Repeater 2 or 3 times (to add delay).
Power the loop with a Lever quickly (turn ON then OFF fast). The signal will run in circles forever. Connect this signal to your Piston.
4. The "Insta-Mine" Secret (Haste II) ⚡
This is what makes the farm "Ultimate." Normally, breaking stone takes time.
If you build a Beacon (full pyramid) and select the Haste II power, you can mine Stone instantly like Creative Mode.
- Requirement: Haste II Beacon + Efficiency V Diamond/Netherite Pickaxe.
- Result: You can mine 20 blocks per second. Your farm needs to be very fast to keep up with you!
5. Silk Touch vs. Fortune ⛏️
Your pickaxe changes the output of this farm:
- Silk Touch Pickaxe: Drops Stone (Smooth). Use this if you want to make Stone Bricks. It saves fuel because you don't have to smelt Cobblestone.
- Fortune III Pickaxe: Drops Cobblestone, but sometimes gives extra items (works better on ores, but good for bulk cobble).
- Normal Pickaxe: Drops Cobblestone.
6. Connecting to Industry 🏭
You now have chests full of Stone. What next?
Connect your Stone Farm directly to your Super Smelter using Hoppers or Water Streams.
- Cobblestone -> Stone: Smelt once.
- Stone -> Smooth Stone: Smelt twice.
With an Automatic Crop Farm feeding you food while you AFK, you can stand here for hours and build an empire!
