Minecraft Ultimate Automatic Crop Farm Guide Wiki: Unlimited Food & Emeralds
Minecraft Ultimate Automatic Crop Farm Guide Wiki: Unlimited Food & Emeralds (2025) 🥕
Welcome Gamers to the Racing Raftaar Wiki! 🥕
Are you still eating Cooked Beef or Bread? That is "noob" food! The best players in the world eat Golden Carrots. Why? because they give the highest saturation (healing) in the game.
We already built the Gold Farm, so we have unlimited Gold. Now we need unlimited Carrots.
But farming by hand is boring. What if we could hire a "Slave" (I mean... an employee) to do it for us? In this guide, we will build a fully automatic farm where a Villager does all the work, and you get all the loot.
1. The Science: Why do Villagers Farm? 🧠
To automate this, we exploit two Villager behaviors:
- Harvesting: A Villager with the "Farmer" profession will automatically break fully grown crops and replant them if they have seeds/carrots in their inventory.
- Sharing: Villagers are social. If one Villager has lots of food and sees another Villager who is "hungry" (empty inventory), they will try to throw food to them.
Our Plan: We trap a hungry Villager in the middle. The Farmer tries to throw food to him, but we put a Hopper in the way. The food never reaches the hungry villager; it goes into our Chest!
2. Materials List 📦
Prepare your resources using your Auto Storage System.
| Item | Quantity | Use |
|---|---|---|
| Villagers | 2 | 1 Farmer, 1 Bait. |
| Composter | 1 | Gives Farmer job. |
| Water Bucket | 1 | Hydrates soil. |
| Hopper Minecart | 1 | Collection. |
| Rail | 1 | Holds Minecart. |
| Light Source | 4 | Glowstone/Torches. |
| Hoe | 1 | To till dirt. |
3. Step-by-Step Build Guide 🏗️
Step 1: The Collection System
Dig a 1x1 hole in the center. Place a Hopper pointing to a chest. Place a Rail on the hopper and a Hopper Minecart on the rail. Place a Trapdoor on top of the minecart (this is where the hungry villager will stand).
Step 2: The Farm Layer
Create a 9x9 square of Dirt around the center collection point. Place water in the corners (hidden under slabs) to keep the soil wet. Use a Hoe to turn all dirt into Farmland.
Step 3: Lighting & Walls
Build 2-block high glass walls around the farm.
Important: Place a Glowstone or Shroomlight directly above the water. Crops need light to grow at night. If it's dark, the farm stops working.
Step 4: The "Slave" & The "Bait"
- The Bait: Put one Villager inside the center trap (standing on the Trapdoor). He should NOT have a job.
- The Farmer: Put another Villager in the farm area. Place a Composter so he becomes a Farmer.
- Throw 8 stacks of Carrots to the Farmer to fill his inventory. He will start planting.
4. Critical Tip for Bedrock Players 📱
If you play on Mobile (MCPE/Bedrock), Villagers are stupid. They will NOT farm unless they think they are in a real village.
5. Infinite Emeralds & Golden Carrots 💰
Once the farm is running, check the chest.
A. Golden Carrots (God Food)
Crafting: 1 Carrot + 8 Gold Nuggets.
You have the Gold Farm for nuggets and this farm for carrots. Combine them to get the best food in Minecraft.
B. Emerald Trading
Go to your Trading Hall. Farmer Villagers buy Carrots and Potatoes. With a cured zombie villager, you can sell 1 Carrot for 1 Emerald. This is basically free money!
