What is Craft The Uncraftable?

Craft The Uncraftable is a Minecraft Bedrock Edition addon that adds 42 crafting recipes for items that cannot be crafted in vanilla Minecraft. Items like Saddle, Name Tag, Trident, Elytra, Totem of Undying, and many more can now be crafted using simple recipes on the crafting table.

The addon also includes a Discovery System that tracks which uncraftable items you have crafted. Every time you obtain one of the 42 items, the addon detects it in your inventory and marks it as discovered. Your progress is saved permanently across sessions. Collect all 42 items to earn the Completionist rank.

Every recipe is designed to be balanced. Rare items like Elytra and Nether Star require expensive ingredients while common items like Saddle and Name Tag use cheap materials. No existing vanilla recipes are changed. The addon only adds new ones for items that were previously impossible to craft.

How Does It Work?

Open a Crafting Table and you will find new recipes for all 42 items. Each recipe uses ingredients that make sense in the context of the game. For example, a Saddle requires Leather, Iron Ingot, and String. A Trident requires Prismarine Shard, Heart of the Sea, and a Stick.

The addon scans your inventory automatically every few seconds. When it detects an uncraftable item that you have not discovered before, it marks that item as discovered and sends a notification to your action bar. You also hear a sound effect when you make a new discovery.

You can view your progress at any time by holding a Book and sneaking. This opens the Stats Panel where you can see your Recipe List, Discovery Progress with a visual progress bar, and your current Achievement Rank.

Free vs Pro Mode

Free mode gives you full access to all 42 recipes and the entire Discovery System. Pro mode adds competitive features like the Leaderboard and Achievement Ranks that track your collector status from Beginner Collector all the way to Completionist.

As you discover more items, you earn higher ranks that are displayed in your Stats Panel. Here are the ranks and what it takes to earn them.

Tips and Tricks

• Start with the Basic Items category. Saddle, Name Tag, and Horse Armor are cheap to craft and will get your discovery count going quickly.
• Some recipes require items from other recipes. For example, Trident needs Heart of the Sea which needs Nautilus Shell. Plan your crafting order.
• Dragon Head requires a Dragon Egg which you can also craft using this addon. Craft the Egg first, then use it to make the Head.
• The Enchanted Golden Apple recipe uses 8 Gold Blocks and 1 Apple. It is expensive but worth it for the powerful effects.
• Use the Recipe List panel to check which items you still need to discover. It shows discovered and undiscovered status for all 42 items.
• In multiplayer, compete with friends using the Leaderboard to see who discovers the most items first.
• All crafting recipes work without Beta APIs. You only need Beta APIs enabled for the Discovery System and Stats Panel to function.

How to Install

1. Download the .mcaddon file using the download button on this page.
2. Tap or click the downloaded file. Minecraft will open and import it automatically.
3. Open Minecraft and either create a new world or edit an existing one.
4. Go to Behavior Packs and Resource Packs, find Craft The Uncraftable, and activate both.
5. Go to Experiments and enable Beta APIs for full functionality.
6. Create the world and start crafting.

Important: Beta APIs must be enabled for the Discovery System and Stats Panel to work. The 42 crafting recipes work without Beta APIs, but tracking features require it.
