Minecraft Ultimate Tree Farm Guide Wiki: Unlimited Wood
Minecraft Ultimate Tree Farm Guide Wiki: Unlimited Wood (2026) ðģ
Welcome Gamers to the Racing Raftaar Wiki! ðŠ
We have solved the Stone problem with our AFK Stone Farm. But what about Wood?
Wood is the most basic resource. You need logs for Chests, Sticks, Tools, and Building. Running around a forest and climbing trees to chop the top logs is "Old School" and very slow.
Yesterday, we built the Bone Meal Farm. Today, we will use that Bone Meal to power a machine that grows trees in 1 second. Say goodbye to the forest, and hello to the "Instant Tree Factory".
1. The Science: Growth Limiter (Diagram) ð§
The biggest problem with farming trees manually is "Big Trees." Sometimes an Oak Tree grows massive with branches everywhere. You have to pillar up to chop it. This wastes time.
Our farm uses a "Height Limiter". Look at the diagram below:
Mechanism Explained:
- Dispensers: They surround the Sapling and shoot Bone Meal automatically.
- The Limiter: A block placed exactly 7 blocks above the dirt.
- The Result: The tree tries to grow. If it wants to be a "Big Tree," it hits the limiter and fails. It is FORCED to grow as a small, simple tree that you can chop from the ground.
2. Materials List ðĶ
Prepare your items using a Crafting Table.
| Item | Quantity | Use |
|---|---|---|
| Dispensers | 3 | To shoot fertilizer. |
| Redstone Dust | 10 | Wiring. |
| Observer | 1 | To detect updates. |
| Dirt Block | 1 | To plant sapling. |
| Lever | 1 | On/Off Switch. |
| Glass/Slabs | 10 | Roof/Limiter. |
| Bone Meal | Lots | Fuel. |
3. Step-by-Step Build Guide ð️
Step 1: The Planting Spot
Place a Dirt Block. This is where you will stand and plant saplings. Dig a hole 2 blocks deep under the dirt block to put a Redstone Torch (optional, but helps with some designs).
Step 2: The Dispensers
Place 3 Dispensers facing the Dirt Block:
1. One on the Left.
2. One on the Right.
3. One on the Back (optional, but makes it faster).
Step 3: The Redstone Clock
We need the dispensers to shoot FAST.
Build a simple "Observer Clock" or "Comparator Clock" behind the dispensers. Connect the signal to all 3 dispensers. Add a Lever so you can turn the machine off when you are out of saplings.
Step 4: The Roof (Crucial Step!)
Count 7 blocks UP from the Dirt Block. On the 7th or 8th block, place a Glass Block or a Slab. This acts as the ceiling.
Why Glass? Because trees don't like solid blocks above them, but Glass works perfectly to limit height without stopping growth.
4. Which Trees Work Best? ðģ
Not all trees are equal. Here is the compatibility list for this farm:
- ✅ Oak (Best): Grows fast, gives Apples too. The Limiter stops the annoying big branches.
- ✅ Birch: Always grows straight. Very reliable.
- ✅ Cherry (1.20+): Works great and looks beautiful.
- ❌ Acacia / Dark Oak / Jungle: These grow in weird shapes or require 2x2 saplings (4 saplings). This farm is for 1x1 trees only.
5. Connecting to Bone Meal Farm ðĶī
This farm eats Bone Meal very fast. If you run out, the farm stops.
The Pro Setup:
Connect a Hopper line directly from your Moss Bone Meal Farm to the Dispensers of this Tree Farm.
Now you have a fully automated system:
Stone -> Moss -> Bone Meal -> Tree -> Wood. The Industrial Revolution is complete!
