[MCPE 1.21+] Horde Nights Addon: Zombie Waves, Blood Moons & Bosses (Script API)

Horde Nights Minecraft Addon Thumbnail

Minecraft nights are supposed to be dangerous. But let's be honest: after you get full Iron Armor, Zombies are just a nuisance, not a threat. You can sleep the night away and forget they even exist.

Horde Nights changes everything. This addon transforms every sunset into a fight for survival. Inspired by "7 Days to Die" and "Zombie Apocalypse" modpacks, this script creates intense, wave-based zombie invasions every single night. The longer you survive, the harder it gets. Night 1 might be a skirmish, but Night 10 is a war.

If you are looking for a true survival challenge where your base defenses actually matter, this is the addon for you. Prepare your weapons, reinforce your walls, and pray for the sunrise.

How the Horde Works

The system is fully automated using the Script API. You do not need to set up command blocks or trigger events manually.

1. The Warning

Each day feels peaceful. You can build, farm, and explore. But as the sun begins to set (around 13000 ticks), a thunderclap echoes across the world. A warning appears on your Action Bar: "NIGHT IS APPROACHING...". You have 30 seconds to get inside.

2. The Wave System

Once night falls, the horde begins. Zombies do not spawn randomly; they spawn in organized Waves every 30 seconds. They spawn 15-20 blocks away from you in all directions, ensuring you cannot just camp in a corner.

  • Night 1-3: Standard Zombies. Manageable.
  • Night 4-6: Husks join the fight. Larger waves.
  • Night 7-9: Skeletons and Spiders provide ranged support.
  • Night 10 (Max Free): Creepers join the siege. Total chaos.

3. Dawn & Performance Rating

If you manage to stay alive until sunrise, the horde retreats. The addon calculates your kills and gives you a "Night Rating" (Poor, Good, Legendary). Surviving the night plays a victory sound and displays your stats.

Interface and Settings

You have full control over the addon. Using simple items, you can check your stats or configure the horde difficulty.

  • Unlimited Nights: The difficulty keeps scaling past Night 10 forever.
  • Blood Moons: A 15% chance for a "Blood Moon" night where spawning is tripled and XP rewards are 5x.
  • Boss Zombies: Every 5 nights, a "Zombie King" with massive health and damage will spawn to challenge you.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Does this work with other addons?
Yes. It uses the vanilla spawning system via scripts, so it is compatible with weapon mods, furniture mods, etc.

2. Will it lag my device?
No. The script has a built-in "Mob Cap" of 20 zombies at once. It will never spawn thousands of entities that crash your game.

3. Can I skip a night?
If you sleep in a bed before the "Night Started" message appears, you can skip the horde. Once the horde starts, sleeping is disabled until all zombies are dead.
